Terms of Service

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Tsumida AI Inc. (“we,” “us”), the operator of Koko, and govern your use of Koko — our website, web app, and mobile apps for iOS and Android that turn short travel videos into sortable lists of places and day‑by‑day plans (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Koko is an early‑access preview. Features may change, break, or be removed, and the Service is provided on an “as is” basis while we build it.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Koko. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

2. The Service

Koko lets you paste public video or map links and extracts the places mentioned to build lists and plans. Place data, travel times, opening hours, and other details are generated automatically from third‑party sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always verify important details — such as locations, hours, and availability — before you rely on them.

3. Fees, purchases, and usage limits

The core of Koko is free to use — importing, lists, plans, maps, and sharing. There are no paid plans or subscriptions, and we never hold your payment details.

Some certified creators sell their curated lists and plans in Discover. Buying one is an optional, one‑time in‑app purchase billed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play under their own terms (paid listings are not yet purchasable on Android). The price is always shown before you buy, and a purchase gives you your own private, editable copy of the creator's content — see section 6. Because a purchase unlocks its content immediately, refunds are handled by the store you bought it in under that store's policies; where we reasonably can, we will help.

To keep the Service fast and affordable for everyone, standard accounts include usage limits: up to 10 link imports per calendar month (the counter resets on the 1st), keeping up to the first 10 places from each video (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or Threads) and up to the first 50 places from each Google Maps list. Some long‑standing accounts have higher limits, and Google Maps list imports are capped at 200 places for every account. We may adjust these limits over time to keep the Service healthy.

4. Acceptable use

When using Koko, you agree not to:

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit and create in Koko. You grant us a limited, non‑exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you (including sending extracted text to our processing providers as described in our Privacy Policy). If you publish content to Discover — free or for sale — that license extends to displaying it publicly and, for paid listings, delivering copies to buyers. You are responsible for the content you submit and for having the necessary rights to it.

6. Marketplace and creator content

Certified creators can publish lists and plans to Discover and offer them for sale. If you sell content, you confirm that you have the rights to everything in it, and you understand that buyers receive their own private, editable copy of it. If you buy content, you receive a personal, non‑transferable copy for your own use — you may not resell, republish, or redistribute it. Creator listings are their authors' work, not ours, and we do not review or endorse them. We may remove listings, refuse or refund a sale, or revoke certified‑creator status at our discretion, including for content that violates these Terms.

7. Third‑party content and services

The Service incorporates data and services from third parties, including mapping and place information from Google and content retrieved from the links you paste. We do not control and are not responsible for third‑party content, and your use of it may be subject to those third parties’ terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Koko name, software, design, and other materials we provide are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks or branding without our prior written consent.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that place and travel information will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koko and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of USD 50 or the amount you paid through the Service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

11. Termination

You may stop using Koko and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Japan.
